Jean, your skipper
“You could say that Sailing'Soun is a sailing school sister to “Mer Belle Evénements”, the latter, founded by your servant, working since 2010 in La Rochelle. In truth, Sailing'Soun is the compass that guided us, from the genesis of the project to the operational start of our activity...

... All this to tell you that Jean, your Sailing'Soun skipper, is indeed the first of a group of friends to have obtained his State Certificate in Habitable Sailing.

Seduced by the rich idea, we followed in its wake and settled, who in La Rochelle, who in Martinique, who in Greece... But Jean, who was too busy to fulfill this dream of which he was the father, will have finally waited fifteen years to welcome you on board.
Leading two lives simultaneously, he went through this period as a sailor, scouring the Atlantic Ocean, crisscrossing the Caribbean and even experiencing two damn cyclones.

However, listing his qualities as a skipper here is of no interest. The safety of your loved ones, its incredible educational qualities shape each of its iodine escapes. Here, in La Rochelle, we take on board groups, businesses and individuals, about two thousand people per year. How many remember the brand of the sailboat they set foot on? Very few. The memory of their respective skippers, on the other hand, lasts for a long time.

With Jean, he is unforgettable! Unforgettable because few professional skippers put people at the center of their concerns so much. His kindness towards all ages, all levels, his quality of listening and his vigilance make him the perfect guide to your iodine escapes.

And then, for those who have read the successful maritime saga, “The Adventures of Gilles Belmonte”, how many skippers inspire a novel character embodying French panache?
Because Jean Damerval, alias the lieutenant and then the captain Jean Duval, is also a fictional hero of the Napoleonic Wars.

So don't wait any longer for a first-class experience, all on a magnificent yacht equipped with the latest equipment. You may well come back to it again, and again! Good wind! “
